The Toyota Battery Manufacturing facility in Liberty, North Carolina is in our jurisdiction and we are waiting to hear back about the next stage, as of August 2025.

SLIFCO ELECTRIC IS THE ELECTRICAL CONTRACTOR THAT WAS CHOSEN TO BUILD THE TOYOTA FACILITY IN LIBERTY.  ANYONE THAT WOULD LIKE TO HAVE THE OPPORTUINITY TO BE A PART OF THE LARGEST PRIVATELY FUNDED PROJECT IN NORTH CAROLINA HISTORY, THIS IS YOUR CHANCE. THIS PROJECT HAS A LIFESPAN OF 8 TO 10 YEARS.

THE CURRENT RATE OF PAY FOR JOURNEYMEN IS $37.80 PER HOUR AND $150 PER DAY INCENTIVE. THIS AMOUNTS TO $3546.00 PER WEEK, ALONG with a 10% pension CONTRACTOR PAID and $1.00 Vacation Fund that pays out twice per year - in June and December. Healthcare is family coverage FOR JOURNEYMEN AND APPRENTICES WHO HAVE OVER 3500 HOURS. HEALTHCARE IS PAID BY THE CONTRACTOR. We also provide a Health Savings Account (HSA) that is $0.59 cents per hour and is included in the FMCP healthcare plan.

THE PROJECT IS WORKING 6/10S - MONDAY THROUGH SATURDAY!

Other contractors bid on projects at the jobsite and put in calls when they do so.
